- 1 cupwhole milk
- 2 cupssharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 8 slicesbacon, cooked and crumbled
- ½ cupdiced onion

- 2 tbspfresh chives, chopped

Preheat oven to 350°F. Butter a 9x13-inch baking dish and spread the frozen tater tots in an even layer across the bottom.

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Scatter the cooked bacon, sautéed onion, and 1½ cups of the cheddar cheese over the tater tots, then pour the egg mixture evenly over everything.
