Caesar salad

A crisp, garlicky salad that's been a family favorite for generations—there's a reason it never goes out of style. The creamy, tangy dressing and crunchy croutons make it feel a little fancy, but it comes together in about 15 minutes with ingredients you probably have on hand.
Ingredients
- 2 headsromaine lettuce
- 1 cupparmesan cheese
- 2 cupscroutons
- 1 cupmayonnaise
- 3 tbsplemon juice
- 2garlic cloves
- 1 tbspworcestershire sauce
- 2anchovy fillets
- 2 tbspolive oil
- 1 tspblack pepper
- ½ tspsalt

Mince the garlic and anchovies together on a cutting board until they form a paste.

In a bowl, whisk together the garlic-anchovy paste, mayonnaise, lemon juice, worcestershire sauce, olive oil, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.

Wash and dry the romaine lettuce, then tear it into bite-sized pieces and place in a large bowl.

Pour the dressing over the lettuce and toss until everything is well coated.

Top with croutons and a generous handful of shaved or grated parmesan cheese, then serve right away.
