Ham Sliders

Soft, buttery slider buns piled high with tender ham, melted cheese, and a touch of sweetness—these little sandwiches disappear fast at any gathering. They're perfect for feeding a crowd without fussing, and kids love them just as much as adults do.
Ingredients
- 12slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
- 1 lbdeli ham, thinly sliced
- 12swiss or cheddar cheese slices
- 4 tbspbutter, softened
- 2 tbspbrown sugar
- 2 tbspdijon mustard
- 2 tbspham glaze or honey
- 1 tsppoppy seeds
- to tastesalt and pepper

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Slice the slider buns horizontally without cutting all the way through, keeping them hinged together.

Mix softened butter with brown sugar, mustard, and honey. Spread this mixture on the inside of both the top and bottom of the buns.

Layer ham and cheese evenly on the bottom halves of the buns, then fold the tops down over the filling.

Brush the top of each slider with any remaining butter mixture and sprinkle with poppy seeds. Season lightly with salt and pepper.

Wrap the sliders in foil and bake for 15 minutes until the cheese melts and the buns are warmed through.
