Ingredients

Method

  1. 1

Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven now.

  2. 2

Stretch or roll out your dough on a floured surface to fit a large pizza pan or baking sheet. Brush lightly with olive oil.

  3. 3

Stir minced garlic into your tomato sauce, then spread it evenly over the dough, leaving a ½-inch border for the crust.

  4. 4

Scatter mozzarella and parmesan over the sauce. Add your favorite toppings in an even layer—don't overload or the crust won't cook through.

  5. 5

Bake until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and lightly browned in spots.

    12–15 min

  6. 6

Remove from oven and tear fresh basil over the top. Let cool for 2 minutes before slicing and serving.
