    Spread tater tots in a single layer on a large rimmed baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes until golden and crispy.

    While tots bake, brown the ground beef with diced onion in a skillet over medium-high heat until the meat is cooked through, about 5–7 minutes. Drain excess fat, then stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 2 minutes.
